Paul Redpath

With more than 15 years of experience in restructuring, insolvency and financial analysis, Paul assists clients in navigating complex corporate insolvency and turnaround situations. His experience spans leading advisory firms, credit rating agencies and global professional services firms, providing him with a strong commercial and analytical perspective on distressed businesses and financial restructuring.

Paul has led and managed a broad range of corporate insolvency and restructuring matters, including;

• Voluntary Administrations: Managing restructuring processes to stabilise financially distressed businesses and assess restructuring options.
• Debt Restructuring & DOCA: Structuring workable solutions between companies and creditors through Deeds of Company Arrangement.
• Receiverships: Acting for secured creditors to maximise recoveries through business or asset realisations.
• Business Sales: Managing sale campaigns, negotiations and transaction execution to optimise stakeholder outcomes.
• Liquidations: Overseeing both Court Liquidations and Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations in an orderly and transparent manner.
• Safe Harbour & Small Business Restructuring: Advising directors on restructuring pathways to improve business viability and creditor outcomes.

Paul commenced his career in restructuring at Deloitte Restructuring Services in Sydney, progressing through to Director level. Over nearly a decade, he led secured creditor receiverships, voluntary administrations and liquidations across sectors including retail, hospitality, automotive, manufacturing, agriculture, property development and construction. He also began his insolvency career with RSM (including a secondment to London), building foundational experience in formal appointments and investigations.
